Lincoln Law Firm, PLLC

The Lincoln Law Firm, PLLC

Christine K. Lincoln established The Lincoln Law Firm, PLLC in 2000. Christine strives to provide a professional yet personable environment in which clients’ needs and objectives are understood by, and entrusted to her and her paralegal. Christine takes the time to listen to clients and understand their unique situations.

Christine deliberately takes on a smaller caseload compared to other divorce attorneys. Christine’s manageable caseload ensures that your case will receive the necessary time and attention it deserves—your case is not just another case in the office. Christine and her paralegal, are dedicated to providing strong and thorough representation. They appreciate that clients are facing significant challenges while going through their legal situation. They understand that they are dealing with the most important aspects of your life—your family, children, and financial resources. Your future is at stake. They want to guide you in a way that provides you the best start for a new beginning at the resolution of your case.

Christine manages each case with an emphasis on a settlement while also preparing for litigation. The most effective way to settle a case is to prepare the case for trial, although, the majority of Christine’s cases do not require the necessity of trial. Christine employs her negotiation expertise to avoid costly and unnecessary litigation, but when a court appearance is the only option to resolve your case, she will be prepared.

What Clients Are Saying

Why Clients Trust Christine

  • Reputation

Practicing in Northwest Harris County and surrounding areas since 2000, Christine has worked diligently serving clients in such a manner that her reputation speaks for itself. Many clients who hire Christine have been referred by her previous clients. Christine’s dedication and professionalism towards her clients is evident in her multitude of client reviews on Avvo.com. Building such a strong reputation has taken time and many years of commitment. A reputation of Christine’s caliber is not built overnight.

  • Personal Approach/Honesty

Christine takes a personal approach to each case as she understands every marriage is different, and every divorce is different. No two divorces are the same, and therefore, each divorce needs to be treated that way. Tailoring her legal expertise to your personal desires is how Christine achieves a successful outcome. Christine is conscientious of the impact excessive legal fees can have in regard to depleting your estate. Christine is a firm believer in being straight forward. There is no benefit to the client or to Christine to lead a client to believe they can achieve a final outcome that is not practical or legally feasible.

  • Integrity

Cutting corners is not an option. We understand that the easy road does not always lead to the most beneficial outcome. We also understand life isn’t always fair. When going through a divorce, life can seem even more challenging than it already is. Christine provides strong advocacy for her clients while also following the rules everyone is required to adhere to. There are no shortcuts or cheat sheets in effectively representing a client. The work needs to be done, which Christine is committed to with everyone who entrusts her to handle their legal situation. The legal system is not perfect and may not always seem “fair.”  Despite the imperfections of the judicial system, Christine navigates all legal matters with pride and integrity to provide you the best possible outcome for your situation. Christine is able to zealously and effectively represent her clients while upholding her ethical standards and maintaining an unwavering adherence to the rules.

  • Exclusivity to Family Law Matters

Christine focuses exclusively on family law matters and the preparation of common estate planning documents. While Christine is well versed in family law, certain circumstances can require a third-party expert review or consult with her and the client. While many cases do not require the necessity of an outside source such as a CPA, appraiser, or business evaluator, some do, and Christine is not hesitant to advise a client when it is time to involve a specialized third party. Christine is seasoned and confident in her field while still aware that if the complexity of your situation calls for a third party, she is prepared to bring them on board to achieve the desired outcome. It can be necessary to employ or consult with an expert when dealing with business valuations, valuations of stocks & restricted stock, tracing of inheritance, tracing of assets owned prior to marriage, as well as tax implications in regard to division of a marital estate. If necessary, Christine can assemble and lead a team towards achieving your goals.

  • Communication

Christine understands the significant impact the attorney you employ will have on the outcome of your case. When you only get one bite at the apple, who do you want on your side? Choosing the right attorney for you is imperative to your case. The counsel you hire is not a decision to take lightly.

Christine’s ability to effectively communicate and be forthright with her clients are keys to success. From the beginning, Christine will advise you if your desired outcome is one which is attainable. Christine’s objective is to never create a false hope in attempt to gain your business, but rather to advise regarding a realistic outcome.

Christine’s clear communication is the guidance that clients need to navigate their family law matter. It is also the reason many clients refer others to Christine. Christine makes herself available and very accessible to her clients through multiple avenues of communication. Past and current clients appreciate her accessibility.
